Te Kāinga Wāhine was born from the idea, that we were never meant to do this thing called life alone. But sometimes, we find ourselves in positions where we are.
Whether it’s starting a business, and not knowing other business owners. Or being in a career without other Māori around you.
At the heart of Te Kāinga Wāhine is our village. Our community. Our people.
I’m deeply passionate about creating spaces of courage, connection and commitment. I know that what works best for wāhine, is a space that has been created for wāhine, by wāhine.
Why?
Because growth is challenging, and vulnerable, and unknown at the best of times. But doing it in a space where you don’t have to explain your cultural ways of being, where people in the room just get it, makes it a little bit easier to be courageous.
And, just 5% more courage each day can massively alter the course of things over time. That’s what we’re here for - change. The change you envision, the one you’re striving for - we’re here for that. And we’ll be right alongside you every step of the way.
